Expected Spurs XI vs Watford

Tottenham Hotspur take part in their first cup competition tomorrow night when they face Watford at Stadium MK.

Mauricio Pochettino will be looking to get revenge on the Hornets for inflicting a first defeat on his side this season at Vicarage Road in the Premier League earlier this month.

The Spurs boss admitted earlier today in his pre-match press conference, where he told Football.London that he is likely to make five or six changes to the side which beat Brighton 2-1 on the south coast on Saturday.

When asked about making changes, Pochettino said: “Yes, like Inter Milan or Brighton, we changed five. It’s a squad game or competition like all. Of course sure five or six changes.”

Paulo Gazzaniga is expected to retain his place in goal with Hugo Lloris and Michel Vorm still sidelined through recent injuries, and there will be changes also made to the outfield playing personnel.

This is the team that we would like to see start the match at Milton Keynes.
