Expected Tottenham team to face Inter Milan

Tottenham Hotspur slumped to their second successive defeat in the Premier League on Saturday, in a 2-1 loss to rivals Liverpool.

Spurs looked fatigued and laboured throughout the entire 90 minutes, their performance riddled with mistakes and sloppy passes.

As such we expect Pochettino to ring the changes for the Champions League tie with Inter Milan.

We believe that Spurs will make five changes to the starting eleven that lost to Liverpool at the weekend, injecting some new blood into the team, while resting other key figures.

Poch came out in support of Michel Vorm, so we expect him to keep his place, alongside Jan Vertonghen in the Tottenham rear guard.

Toby Alderweireld, Danny Rose and Kieran Trippier may be handed rests after heavy involvement with both their countries and Tottenham over the past week or so.

Ben Davies will slot into the left back position, with Serge Aurier down the right and Davinson Sanchez next to Jan in defence.

After a brief run out against Liverpool, Wanyama may be given the nod from the start to provide some extra security, and to give Eric Dier a much needed rest.

Dembele, Eriksen, Kane and Moura should all retain their starting spots, as four of Tottenham’s strongest players.

After a blistering cameo at the weekend, Sonny is expected to slot into the left channel.

Erik Lamela could be handed a start in place of Moura or Eriksen, but we expect him to be saved for the next Premier League tie.

What do you think of our line up? Do you think Poch will go with something else?
