Expected XI to face Huddersfield

Tottenham take on Huddersfield this weekend, looking to extend their winning streak to three games ahead of a crucial tie against Barcelona at Wembley.

Spurs ended a three game losing streak last weekend with a 2-1 win against Brighton on the south coast.

Pochettino’s men then inched past Watford in the Carabao Cup, but needed penalties to do so after a late equaliser from ex-Spurs man Etienne Capoue.

Third choice goalkeeper Paulo Gazzaniga impressed again for the Lilywhites, picking up his third man of the match award in only his third game for Spurs.

Gazzaniga saved two crucial penalties to send Spurs though to the next round, and is expected to keep his place in the team with Lloris and Vorm both out injured.

In defence, Trippier, Vertonghen and Rose are expected to return for the away trip in Huddersfield.

Dembele and Dier should take up their usual starting berths in the centre of midfield, with Dele Alli retaining his place slightly further forward after a solid performance on his return to Milton Keynes mid-week.

Heung-Min Son is also expected to return, with Harry Kane up front after being rested against Watford.

Erik Lamela could find himself in the starting line up after 5 goals in 5 games, with Lucas likely to be given a rest after a fast start to the season.

What do you think of this Tottenham line up? What changes would you make?
