‘Expecting nothing less than 3 points’ – Some fans react to the Spurs team vs West Ham

Some Tottenham Hotspur fans have taken to Twitter to share their reaction to the team selection for this afternoon’s Premier League match against West Ham United at the London Stadium.

As expected, Nuno Espirito Santo has made wholesale changes to his team after fielding a second string during the midweek defeat to Vitesse Arnhem in the Europa Conference League by revering back to the team which beat Newcastle 3-2.

Spurs have lost four successive Premier League London derbies, as many defeats as in their previous 17, and will be looking towards Harry Kane to score in successive matches, the striker has scored 11 top-flight goals against West Ham – the only club he has a better record against is Leicester (15 goals).

West Ham have lost their last two home league games, both by a 2-1 scoreline and thanks to winners in the 89th minute (vs Man Utd) and 90th minute (vs Brentford). They’ve not lost three consecutively at home in the competition since a run of four under Manuel Pellegrini in December 2019 – his final four such games at the club.

This is how some of the North London faithful reacted to news of the team:
