Dutch football expert Marcel van der Kraan has lavished praise on Arne Slot, revealing that the Tottenham managerial target plays a similar style of football to Pep Guardiola.
If reports over the last 24 hours are to be believed, Arne Slot is now edging closer to becoming the next Tottenham head coach.
Gianluca Di Marzio has claimed that the discussions between the Dutchman and the Spurs hierarchy were positive and that talks are now advancing over a deal.
This has also been backed up by Football Insider, who have revealed that Tottenham were left extremely impressed with the Feyenoord boss when they interviewed him and are now confident that he is the right man for the job.
The publication also asserted that discussions are progressing at a good pace and there is a willingness from both parties to complete a deal.
Van der Kraan is certainly not surprised at Tottenham’s desire to snap up Slot, explaining that the 44-year-old has delivered champagne football at De Kuip.

When asked about Spurs’ interest in the Feyenoord boss, the journalist told talkSPORT: “It’s a risk. But then again, this man is in demand.
“He’s brought the best style of football I’ve seen for 40 years at the club.
“It’s almost a copy of Pep Guardiola’s style. That’s what the people love.
“And probably, that is why Daniel Levy is considering him as the ideal candidate to change something at Spurs finally.”
