No FA charge for Redknapp and rightly so!

Harry Redknapp

The Football Association have confirmed that there will be no changes brought against Harry Redknapp for his comments after Tottenham’s 2-0 defeat at Manchester United.

Redknapp had threatened to stop holding post-match interviews if he was charged by the FA, and rightly so.  What Harry said after the farce at Old Trafford was right.

“He (Redknapp) has been warned but we will not be taking any formal disciplinary action,” an FA spokesman said.

Have something to tell us about this article?

  1. Blimey if Harry was muzzled it wouldn't be worth watching the post match interviews. I'm all in favour
of respecting the referee's decisions on the pitch but I don't see why they can't be debated afterwards.

  2. As Manager, Harry had the duty and the right to voice his opinion and I am glad the FA has realised this. After all, he never insulted the referee but only expressed his viewpoint. We must respect this.
