FA Charges for Spurs and West Ham

Sky Sports are reporting that both ourselves and West Ham face a Football Association charge after our players clashed towards the end of our 3-2 win at the London Stadium.

Referee Michael Oliver awarded Spurs a free kick deep in to time added on at the end of the second half after Andy Carroll had fouled Fernando Llorente. Handbags ensued between the two and a number of other players waded in, resulting in bookings for Carroll and Llorente as well as Eric Dier and West Ham defender Winston Reid. Both clubs are now facing misconduct charges.

A Statement from the football association read “West Ham United and Tottenham Hotspur have been charged by The Fa following their fixture on Saturday, it is alleged that in or around the 95th minute of the game ,both clubs failed to ensure their players conducted themselves in an orderly fashion”

Both clubs now have until six-o-clock on thursday to respond to the charges.
