Fabio Paratici has now broken his silence on the rumours that he is set to join Tottenham Hotspur this summer as the club’s new Sporting Director.
However, Paratici refused to confirm or deny the links, merely claiming that today was about his exit from Juventus after 11 years at the club. He added that his family hoped to see him find a new job quickly.
The Telegraph reported this week that Paratici is likely to follow Antonio Conte to Tottenham if the North London side can agree a deal with the former Chelsea manager.
Foot Mercato journalist Santi Aouna also reported this week that Spurs have their eyes on the Juventus mastermind as a potential new Director of Football/Sporting Director.
It was announced earlier this year that Paratici would be leaving Juventus, where he has served as the Chief Football Officer for the past 11 seasons, and it appears that today is his final farewell.
Fabrizio Romano reported that Paratici said this on the Tottenham links: “Spurs job? I don’t think this is the right time to talk about other clubs today… it’s my Juventus farewell today. My family hopes that I will find a job quickly.”
