Tottenham Hotspur may have just extended Timo Werner’s loan spell at the club, but they intend to sign more attackers this summer, with players like Bryan Gil set to depart.
With Ange Postecoglou‘s attacking style of football now the norm at Spurs, the club needs to improve its roster in the forward areas.
It is expected the Lilywhites will be fairly active in the transfer market this summer, with players coming in and peripheral squad players moving on.
Tottenham’s first act of the summer has been to retain Timo Werner for a further season, after agreeing a new loan deal with RB Leipzig for the German winger.

Spurs could sell Bryan Gil this summer
But, it seems Spurs are not done there, and we can expect further reinforcements in attacking areas this summer.
As per Fabrizio Romano, the club are keen to sign another winger this summer, with Bryan Gil expected to leave.
Romano took to X to post: “Tottenham will still look into new signings upfront for Ange Postecoglou after Timo Werner deal. Spurs are considering wingers and centre strikers in case of good opportunities, with several players still expected to leave. Bryan Gil could be sold this summer.”
The young Spaniard has had a torrid time in his three years with Spurs, and has failed to acclimatise to the Premier League.
Gil is said to be very keen to rejoin former side Sevilla this summer, with Tottenham looking for a fee of around £6m for the winger (Estadio Deportivo).

Spurs Web Opinion
Bryan Gil simply has to go this summer. We’ve wasted so much time and money on players like this and we just have to be ruthless and get rid now.
I’m happy with the Werner signing, but we have to sign another even better winger next if we truly want to compete this coming season on multiple fronts and really establish ourselves in the top four of the Premier League.
