Fabrizio Romano delivers update on Christian Eriksen’s situation

Italian transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has admitted that Inter Milan are yet to receive any offers for former Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Christian Eriksen.

The Serie A giants have admitted that they could be looking to move the midfielder on this month.

The Dane has been liked with a move to Spurs’ North London rivals Arsenal as well as Paris Saint-Germain, where Mauricio Pochettino has now taken charge (CalcioMercato).

Pochettino refused to rule out a move for Eriksen when he was asked about the midfielder in his first press conference as PSG boss.

Meanwhile, a return to Tottenham has also been mooted as a possibility for the midfielder this summer (Don Balon) but some Spurs fans on social media are divided over whether or not it would make sense for the club to bring the 28-year-old back.

Romano has now said that Inter are keen to get rid of the former Spurs man and are hoping to get some offers over the next few days.

After going public about his intention of trying a new challenge, I cannot see Eriksen returning to the Premier League in January. I suspect a move to PSG or Spain would be his preference but the midfielder might have to take a wage cut in order to leave Inter.
