Fabrizio Romano makes confident Dybala prediction amidst Spurs interest

Fabrizio Romano has predicted that Paulo Dybala will leave Juventus this summer as the two parties are no closer to agreeing on a new contract.

Dybala is set to run into the final year of his contract at the end of the current season and previous reports have indicated that the Serie A giants could cash in on the forward as they cannot afford to extend both his and Cristiano Ronaldo’s contract.

CalcioMercato have backed Tottenham to make another attempt to sign the Argentine this summer after their pursuit of the 27-year-old collapsed in 2019.

CorriereDelloSport have revealed that, while Spurs are interested in the Juve star, they are not willing to offer over €40-€45m (£34.3m- £38.5m) for his services.

Dybala has been suspended by Juventus for breaking Italy’s coronavirus restrictions by attending a party at teammate Weston McKennie’s house last week. Romano believes that the former Palermo man is on his way out of the Allianz Arena this summer.

The journalist said on the Here We Go podcast: “Paulo Dybala is leaving Juventus.

“There’s still no agreement on his contract, they have been negotiating for nearly 2 years.

“That’s my personal feeling, he’s leaving Juventus this summer.”
