Fabrizio Romano has revealed that Dele Alli is on the verge of completing a loan move to Paris Saint-Germain until the end of the season.
The Athletic reported yesterday that Dele was keen on reuniting with Mauricio Pochettino at PSG and Jose Mourinho was open to letting the midfielder leave.
RMC Sport then revealed that Daniel Levy has had a change of heart regarding the transfer and was open to letting the 24-year-old go to Paris on the back of talks with the former MK Dons man.
However, the report suggested that the Tottenham chairman was looking to bring in a replacement before letting the England international leave.
Romano has now backed up the claim, revealing that the North Londoners are determined to bring in a replacement before letting Dele go to the Ligue 1 giants.
However, the journalist admitted that talks were in an advanced stage between the two clubs and that a deal is almost done.
PSG are pushing to sign Dele Alli and the player wants to go, as reported two weeks ago.
More: talks are now advanced, deal almost ‘ready’ on loan until the end of the season [NO buy option].

Given that there are only days left until the transfer window closes, it is difficult to imagine us bringing in a replacement for Dele. Given how little football the 24-year-old has played so far this season, one can argue that we do not necessarily need a like-for-like replacement, particularly if Lo Celso regains his fitness soon.
