Fabrizio Romano provides update on Pape Matar Sarr, Gil and Winks exits from Spurs

Fabrizio Romano has claimed that Tottenham Hotspur are confident of finding the right loan move for Pape Matar Sarr before the transfer window closes.

After weeks of frustration in their efforts to offload the players who are surplus to requirements, Spurs are finally starting to have some success.

Last week, Giovani Lo Celso sealed a return to Villarreal on loan while Tanguy Ndombele appears to be close to joining Napoli on a temporary deal, with the Serie A club having the option to make it permanent (Area Napoli).

Romano has taken to social media to reveal that Sarr might be the next player through the exit door this summer.

The 19-year-old did not make the matchday squad for either of Tottenham’s two Premier League matches so far this season.

Romano reveals that several clubs from the Serie A are showing interest in signing the Senegal international on loan.

The journalist further added that Valencia are still in talks with Spurs over re-signing Bryan Gil on loan and that Fabio Paratici is also trying to find a club for Harry Winks.

I am surprised that Sergio Reguilon has not been snapped up already as I expected several La Liga clubs to show interest in the Spaniard. Perhaps, it is a case of the 25-year-old having a clear preference and wanting to wait to see if the club in question make an offer.
