Fabrizio Romano reveals key update that could impact Tanganga’s Spurs future

Fabrizio Romano‘s transfer update on Club Brugge midfielder Charles de Ketelaere could impact Japhet Tanganga’s proposed move to AC Milan.

CalcioMercatoWeb.it reported recently that Fabio Paratici is set to meet with the Milan hierarchy for the second time next week to negotiate a deal for Tanganga, with Spurs open to the idea of loaning the centre-back out with an option to buy for €25m (£21.2m).

However, La Gazzetta dello Sport (27/07/22 as relayed by Milan Reports) claimed this week that the Rossoneri’s move for the Spurs star could depend on how their pursuit of De Ketelaere unfolds.

The report explained that the Serie A giants’ priority is signing the Belgian wonderkid and they would only sign Tanganga if they are able to get a deal for the 21-year-old over the line.

Romano has now taken to social media with his infamous ‘here we go’ to reveal that De Ketelaere is set to sign his deal with AC Milan this weekend.

Spurs Web Opinion

The fact that Tanganga has travelled with the Spurs squad to Israel for the pre-season friendly against AS Roma suggests that, as things stand, he is not close to completing a move to Milan. However, there is still plenty of time left in the transfer window for the Serie A club to push through a deal for the 23-year-old.
