Fabrizio Romano has revealed that Burnley have added a sell-on clause to the Wilson Odobert deal, who became Tottenham’s latest signing earlier today.

Tottenham complete secret Wilson Odobert deal
Tottenham have conducted most of their transfer business in secrecy this summer but Johan Lange and co outdid themselves in the deal for Odobert, with barely any journalist or outlet catching a whiff of the news until the Lilywhites officially announced the transfer.
The 19-year-old is the latest exciting young player to join Ange Postecoglou’s squad, arriving at the North London club on the back of an impressive breakthrough season at Turf Moore.
The teenager was one of the most electric wingers on show in the Premier League last season, giving a torrid time to defences across the division.
While the youngster is still raw, Postecoglou will fancy his chances of moulding him into the finished product.

Burnley put sell-on clause into Odobert deal
According to reports, Spurs have agreed on a deal worth an initial £25m million, with a further £5m in possible add-ons for Odobert (Alasdair Gold).
That figure has now been backed by Romano, who also revealed that a 10 per cent sell-on clause has been retained by Clarets as a part of the agreement.

Burnley would have probably accepted a few million less in transfer fees in order to add a sell-on clause.
The fact that they have done so suggests that they are pretty confident that Odobert is going to evolve into an extremely valuable commodity over the next few years.
