Fabrizio Romano reveals Spurs have agreed long-term contract and terms with target

Fabrizio Romano has taken to Twitter to reveal that Tottenham Hotspur have agreed on personal terms and a long-term contract with Richarlison.

The Italian transfer expert has claimed that Tottenham and Everton are now due to continue their discussions over the structure of the deal which will see the Brazilian head to north London.

Football.London reported earlier this evening that there is hope that a deal can be agreed over the course of the next day ahead of the Toffees financial fair play deadline on July 1st.

Last season alone, he scored 10 goals and registered five assists in 30 Premier League appearances within an Everton side which narrowly avoided relegation (transfermarkt).

The deal for Richarlison looks to be progressing at pace with Spurs appearing to have a clear run at the striker with Chelsea focusing their efforts on Raphinha and Raheem Sterling.

Despite Richarlison’s likely arrival, Spurs are still lacking a creative outlet to their midfield with Bissouma, Skipp, Hojbjerg and Bentancur all primarily known for their defensive ability with a heavy reliance on Harry Kane and the wing-backs to provide the opportunities for those around them.
