Fabrizio Romano reveals Spurs have agreed personal terms with Spanish international

Fabrizio Romano has revealed that Tottenham Hotspur have agreed on personal terms with Adama Traore ahead of a potential move to north London.

Talks are said to be ongoing between Tottenham and Wolverhampton Wanderers over a deal and while an agreement is yet to be reached, there is confidence from within Spurs that they will get their man.

Negotiations between both clubs are ongoing ahead of the transfer window closing at the end of the month.

Journalist Jonathan Veal reported last night that the Spanish international has travelled to London with the rest of the Wolves squad ahead of their match at Brentford later this afternoon.

The 25-year-old’s contract at Molineux ends in 18 months and it is said that he has no intention of putting pen to paper on a fresh deal (The Athletic).

Spurs are prioritising a move for some extra quality on the right flank with the possibility of turning Traore into a right-wing-back to offer more of an attacking threat than what Emerson Royal possesses.

Hopefully, Tottenham can get the deal wrapped up after this weekend’s fixtures and Traore will certainly benefit from some extra time at Hotspur Way to learn from Conte during the international break.
