Fabrizio Romano reveals the timeline of when Mauricio Pochettino’s future should be clear

Italian football journalist Fabrizio Romano has revealed that Paris Saint-Germain are ‘100 per cent convinced’ that Mauricio Pochettino will remain as their head coach.

Goal reported on Sunday that Pochettino had told PSG that he wants to leave the club this summer with both Tottenham Hotspur and Real Madrid keen to appoint him as their new manager.

Romano was speaking to the Qué Golazo Podcast – 31/5/21 (7:50) where he admitted that Tottenham want to bring the Argentine back to the club and the situation is open, while predicting that in the next three to four days, there will be a final outcome over where Pochettino’s future will lie.

Romano claimed it is a complicated situation and the North Londoners may have to look to pay a significant amount of money if they are serious in their intentions to complete a remarkable return for the 49-year-old.

PSG sporting director Leonardo mentioned in an interview with French radio station Sport1 that Pochettino now has two years remaining on his contract despite signing an 18-month deal in December.
