Fabrizio Romano reveals three more signings he expects Spurs to make this summer

Tottenham Hotspur have moved early in this summer’s transfer window, already securing three new signings before a ball has been kicked in the Premier League.

The Lilywhites first introduced Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg from Southampton, before signing Joe Hart on a free transfer and securing the signature of Wolves wing-back Matt Doherty last week.

However, journalist and transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano, does not expect Tottenham to stop there this summer as they target yet more reinforcements.

While appearing on the Last Word On Spurs podcast this week, Romano revealed that Spurs are still interested in signing a new striker, winger, and central defender this summer.

Tottenham lost Jan Vertonghen on a free transfer at the end of last season and are still without a natural back-up to Harry Kane.

With the transfer window open until the first week of October, Daniel Levy and Jose Mourinho also still have plenty of time to work their magic.

Romano told the Last Word On Spurs podcast (8 minutes): “I think they will go for a centre-back, for sure. I expect them to go for a centre-back on the transfer market. They are also considering the opportunity of a new winger. And absolutely a new striker because they need a back-up option for Harry Kane, so I think these three can be the next signings for Tottenham in the first days of October.”
