Fabrizio Romano reveals what he is hearing about Conte, Levy and Paratici at Spurs

Fabrizio Romano has revealed that Antonio Conte wants to lead a big revolution at Tottenham this summer.

There has been a lot of speculation regarding Conte’s future over recent weeks, with reports indicating that the Italian has offered himself to Paris Saint-Germain on a two-year contract (Le Parisien).

While Conte has dismissed the PSG links as ‘fake news’ (Goal), the 52-year-old has refused to commit his future to Tottenham (Football.London).

It was reported on Monday that Daniel Levy is ready to back the Spurs head coach this summer, with the club thought to be planning on investing their entire transfer budget on players who would strengthen the first team instead of up and coming youngsters (The Athletic).

Romano has now said on the latest episode of the Here We Go Podcast (starting at 14:59) that Spurs are focused on finishing fourth at present.

He stated that the message Conte is getting from Levy and Fabio Paratici is that they want to continue working together next season.

Romano added that the Spurs hierarchy are prepared to do ‘their best’ to keep Conte, who allegedly wants a ‘big revolution’ this summer, and is demanding as many as six new signings.

Finally, the journalist also stated that Conte is not having any negotiations with PSG at present.

Spurs Web Opinion

I would be extremely surprised if Spurs allow Conte to leave this summer. The club do not have any choice but to gamble in this summer’s transfer window by spending big in order to keep the Italian happy. Levy knows that another failed managerial appointment will dial up the pressure on him and the Spurs ownership.
