Fabrizio Romano reveals when Spurs will announce new manager

Fabrizio Romano has now claimed that Tottenham Hotspur will announce their new head coach before the start of the European Championships (Chris Cowlin interview).

A number of Tottenham’s first-team players, including the likes of Hugo Lloris, Harry Kane and Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg are away with their respective international sides for the foreseeable future.

Those not selected to play in an international tournament this summer will likely be using their time off to go on holiday and recharge ahead of the 2021/22 season.

The Euros are set to kick off on June 11 and it appears as if the North London side are looking to have their new boss in by then.

This will give the new head coach, Daniel Levy and Steve Hitchen plenty of time to work together in the summer transfer market ahead of the new campaign.

Tottenham have been without someone at the helm since late April when Jose Mourinho was sacked, although Ryan Mason did fill the role on an interim basis.
