Fabrizio Romano says 20-year-old Spurs target could be on the move this summer

Fabrizio Romano has said that an exit from Juventus is very much on the cards for rumoured Tottenham Hotspur target Samuel Iling-Junior this summer.

Iling-Junior has been thought of quite highly since his days in the Chelsea academy and there were big hopes for the youngster when he broke into Juve’s senior side last season and impressed.

However, the winger has failed to kick on like he was expected to and has struggled to get regular game time at the Allianz Stadium this season.

Over the last couple of months, it has been widely reported that the Old Lady could cash in on the youngster in order to fund moves for their transfer targets this summer, with Tottenham thought to be watching the situation (Gazzetta dello Sport via Sport Witness).

In fact, Football Insider even claimed a couple of days ago that Spurs, Everton, Brighton, and West Ham were all plotting moves for the 20-year-old ahead of the summer.

Romano has now taken to social media to state that Iling-Junior is attracting interest from both England and Italy and the player could leave Juve this summer as there are currently no discussions regarding a contract extension.

Spurs Web Opinion

Iling-Junior was heavily linked with a move to Tottenham ahead of January but the club seemingly decided to pursue a move for Antonio Nusa instead in the last transfer window.

That suggests that while the Juve star is on Ange Postecoglou’s radar, he is not really one of the top names on his wishlist.
