‘Agents are talking’ – Fabrizio Romano reveals latest on Ndombele’s Spurs future

Fabrizio Romano has revealed Tanguy Ndombele’s agent is talking to clubs about a transfer away from Tottenham this summer, although discussions are not at an advanced stage as of yet.

The 25-year-old is one of four Spurs players whose futures have been left up in the air after being left out of Antonio Conte’s squad for the pre-season trip to South Korea (Daily Mail).

He struggled to gain regular game time under the Italian last season before spending the second half of the campaign on loan at former side Lyon, but he massively underwhelmed on his return to France.

Get French Football News report Spurs are actively looking to offload Ndombele this summer and are hopeful that Villarreal pick up the pieces.

Italian journalist Romano has now explained that Ndombele’s representatives are in contact with a number of clubs over a potential transfer but have not found an ‘imminent solution’ as of yet, with talks not at advanced stages.

Romano told CaughtOffside: “For Ndombele there is still no imminent solution. His agents are talking to more clubs but with no advanced negotiations yet.”

Hopefully, the situation regarding Ndombele will be resolved in good time as Spurs are set to have a costly asset sitting on the sidelines doing nothing.

If time keeps progressing with no agreement, Spurs may end up having to drop their asking price if they are desperate or even settle for a loan again.
