Fabrizio Romano says another club has just outbid Spurs for Radu Dragusin

Fabrizio Romano has reported that Bayern Munich have outbid Tottenham in the race for Radu Dragusin this evening, throwing a spanner in the works for Ange Postecoglou and co.

Matteo Moretto also claims that Genoa have accepted both Tottenham and Bayern’s offers for the central defender, meaning it is now up to Dragusin to decide himself.

Romano says Tottenham remain confident in the race because they have already agreed on personal terms with Dragusin, but Bayern Munich are still hoping to hijack the deal.

Bayern Munich vs Tottenham for Radu Dragusin

News this morning had been promising for Spurs, with Romano claiming an agreement had been reached with Genoa in a deal that would cost Spurs a £21.5m fixed fee and £4.2m in add-ons.

It was also mentioned that Djed Spence would be sent on loan to Genoa to sweeten the deal for the Italian side

Football.London even suggested Spurs wanted to register Dragusin before the Premier League deadline on Friday at midday, so he could play against Manchester United.

Spurs Web Opinion:

If Dragusin is looking at the two clubs and deciding which path is better for his immediate career, he will likely choose Tottenham. He will play plenty of games under Ange Postecoglou, whereas I suspect he would be nothing more than a bench warmer in Germany.
