Fabrizio Romano says Tottenham Hotspur are not desperate to sign another right-back as Ange Postecoglou feels the club are well-stocked in that area.

Tottenham are being linked with right-backs
On Wednesday, UOL Esporte’s Bruno Andrade stated that Spurs had opened talks with Monaco over a deal for Vanderson, with the journalist claiming that the 23-year-old had been earmarked by the Lilywhites as a replacement for Emerson Royal.
In fact, he even asserted that Monaco were expecting a €40m (£34.2m) offer to arrive for full-back sooner rather than later.
However, Football.London’s Alasdair Gold later refuted this information, remarking that reports of a Spurs move for Vanderson are wide off the mark.

Spurs are well-stocked at right-back now
The same information has now also been backed up by Romano, who said that Tottenham have not advanced towards the signing of any right-back, because the position is not considered a priority by Postecoglou, given the options he has at his disposal.
The journalist told GiveMeSport: “There is still nothing imminent or really close in terms of new right-back. I’m hearing that they believe they could already be well covered in that position.
“Obviously, they have Pedro Porro and Emerson Royal left, but there is also Archie Gray, who can cover that position. So Tottenham are not desperate in this moment to sign a new right-back.”
Spurs Web Opinion
While one can understand the logic for Spurs wanting an attack-minded left-back, a move for a right-back would make no sense, particularly given that Djed Spence looks set to stay.
One would expect Tottenham to prioritise a move for a top-class winger and perhaps a midfielder in the final two weeks of the window.
