Fabrizio Romano is confident that Tottenham Hotspur will look to strengthen in the middle of the park and in attack this summer, revealing that the club have already begun looking for reinforcements in those areas of the pitch.
While Ange Postecoglou’s first season in charge has been a relatively successful one despite the team’s recent downturn in form, it is clear that the club need more quality if they are to challenge the best sides in the Premier League next year.
With Tottenham set to be back in Europe next season, the Aussie coach would want to bulk up the squad in order to give the side the best chance of competing on multiple fronts.

Spurs were the biggest spenders in the Premier League during the January window and Romano believes that the Lilywhites will once again be extremely busy this summer.
The journalist revealed that Postecoglou’s men will look to sign a number nine or a wide-forward while also bolstering their options in the middle of the park.
He told GiveMeSport: “I think it will be an important summer for Tottenham in terms of midfield. And then [there will be] an offensive player, at least one offensive player.

“We will see if it’s going to be more a kind of winger or more a kind of number nine. But they are exploring the offensive players market and I think they will do something also in that position. So I think it will be a busy summer at Tottenham.”

A number six and another forward are seemingly Totteham’s top priorities while Postecoglou would also wish to sign a versatile full-back, who can cover for both Udogie and Porro, and another centre-back, preferably someone who is homegrown like Tosin Adarabioyo or Llyod Kelly.
