Fabrizio Romano has revealed that Paranaense sensation Vitor Roque, who is rumoured to be on Tottenham’s radar, wants to sort out his future early in the summer transfer window.
Roque, who broke into Paranense’s senior side last season, has started off the new season in electric form, having found the back of the net four times and provided two assists in six league games (Transfermarkt).
Globo Esporte reported a couple of weeks ago Spurs are one of many European clubs who have been alerted to the youngster’s potential.
Tottenham’s interest in the centre-forward was backed up by TEAMtalk last week but the publication suggested that the Lilywhites’ London rivals, Chelsea and Arsenal, were in pole position to snap up the Brazilian.
Romano has now taken to social media to explain that while Roque’s preference is to move to Barcelona, the Catalan club’s financial situation could scupper the move.
The journalist also added that the teenager has had ‘no concrete talks’ with Arsenal, with other Premier League sides now thought to be entering the race.
Understand Vitor Roque plan is to move and pick his future club soon — not late in the summer window. ✨🇧🇷 #transfers

Spurs Web Opinion
Tottenham have not really tended to sign players straight from South America but Fabio Paratici did have a track record of signing young talent from Brazilian and Argentine football during his time at Juventus.
So, it will be interesting to see if Spurs push ahead with a move for Roque this summer.
