Fabrizio Romano updates on Spurs chase for Richarlison, Harry Winks, and ‘Raphinha domino’

Fabrizio Romano has explained that Tottenham remain interested in signing Everton forward Richarlison, while talks to send Harry Winks in the opposite direction are currently slow.

Richarlison has emerged as a transfer target for a host of clubs after citing his desire to leave the Toffees this summer (Goal Brasil).

The 25-year-old is on Spurs’ shortlist, with some reports hinting that out-of-favour midfielder Winks could be used as a makeweight to seal a deal (Daily Mail).

Transfer guru Romano has now issued an update on the club’s pursuit, claiming Tottenham are ‘well informed’ on Richarlison’s situation after recent talks to offload the England international.

It is explained that Richarlison is open to moving to North London, although the switch could be dependent on the future of Leeds winger Raphinha, who has been linked with Spurs, Arsenal and Chelsea (Fabrizio Romano).

Romano added that Spurs and Everton’s discussions regarding Winks remain slow as he could be used in the same transaction to secure Richarlison or as part of a separate move.

There seem to be a lot of factors involved in this specific deal as it could involve two players plus cash being sent too.

Either way, hopefully, Spurs will be able to secure their man in Richarlison and move Winks on given he is unlikely to have much of a big role at the club anymore.
