Tottenham Hotspur may have not have signed a single new player in almost a year and a half, but they certainly haven’t been hanging about in this transfer window.
Spurs have reportedly put in two bids for Real Betis attacking midfielder Giovani Lo Celso already this summer in an attempt to lure him to North London (Gianlucadimarzio).
This same report states that the club have bid £62m in their latest attempt to secure his signature.
This move could be in preparation for Christian Eriksen to leave for Madrid in the same transfer window, as the Great Dane has just one year left on his current deal (Mirror).
One fan has now added fuel to the flames regarding the Lo Celso move, as he claims the playmaker has removed all mention of Real Betis from his Instagram bio.
This follows a report from that states Lo Celso is ready to force through a move to Tottenham this summer (Mirror).
Spurs transfer target Lo Celso has today removed the “Professional Footballer for Real Betis” from his Instagram bio.
