Some fans call for this youngster to be promoted to first team after 13 goals in 8 games

Some Tottenham Hotspur fans are now calling for Mauricio Pochettino to call up another youngster from the academy after sensational performances in the under 18s.

Poch has already used Luke Amos and Oliver Skipp this season, as well as Kazaiah Sterling in the cup, but one lad who has yet to appear in the first team is Troy Parrott.

The 17-year-old has regularly trained with the senior squad, as well as travelling to away fixtures as the 19th man, but he is still knocking on the door of a debut.

Many will believe that 17 is too young to throw that amount of pressure on a young player, and Pochettino will likely be careful after his comments about Marcus Edwards four years ago.

However, after netting another two goals against Aston Villa this week, Parrott has taken his under 18s tally to 13 in eight games, something that cannot be ignored.

Could this be a star of the future?
