Tottenham defender Federico Fazio has joined Spanish side Sevilla on loan until the end of the season.
The 28-year-old only signed for the north Londoners from the La Liga outfit in the summer of 2014 but has failed to establish himself at White Hart Lane.
The Argentine defender has made just one appearances for Spurs this season and is behind Jan Vertonghen, Toby Alderweireld, Eric Dier and Kevin Wimmer in the central defensive pecking
Not even Vertonghen’s lengthy injury lay off could persuade Pochettino to keep Fazio at the Lane.
