Reports in the press seem to indicate that Tottenham striker Vincent Janssen is nearing the exit door.
Dutch outlet ELF Voetbal reported yesterday that a whole host of clubs are interested in the 25-year-old including clubs from China and Belgium, but German side Schalke are reportedly in pole position.
However, Belgian outlet HLN now claim that Anderlecht are also locked in negotiations with Spurs for Vincent Janssen.
So it looks like there is a bidding war going on for Tottenham’s unwanted man. The Dutchman hardly featured last season for Tottenham due to a foot injury but managed to recover fully towards the end of the season.
While some Spurs fans couldn’t wait to see the back of the former AZ Alkmaar man, others felt a bit sorry for the striker as he never really got a fair shot at the club.
Here’s how some fans reacted to the recent updates regarding Janssen.

Feel sorry for him. I really think he’s a decent player but didn’t get a chance which is understandable cuz of kane. Good luck Janssen!

Spurs Web Opinion
While Janssen has shown glimpses of his talent, he has not been able to produce consistently enough to warrant a place in the Spurs squad. A lot of clubs seem to be interested in taking the striker off our hands which should help the club get a decent fee for him.
