Fellow Prem manager heaps praise on Pochettino

Tottenham Hotspur made it four wins in their last four Premier League games when they defeated Leicester City 3-1 last week.

Despite beating the Foxes, Fulham, Watford, and Newcastle in a row, Spurs hadn’t been at their best performance wise.

The past few weeks have been more about securing the wins in any way possible in the absence of Harry Kane and Dele Alli.

The likes of Heung Min Son and Fernando Llorente have stepped up in terms of goal scoring during this tricky time.

Spurs will be hoping to replicate their second half performance against Borussia Dortmund last week as they push on through the season.

Tottenham scored three past the German League leaders in the second 45, putting one foot into the quarter finals of the Champions League.

Next up in the Prem is Burnley, a side who have typically been tricky to beat over the past few seasons under Sean Dyche.

Dyche was full of praise for Poch on The Alan Brazil Breakfast Show this week (as quoted by HITC): “They are a top side. They are sneaking under the rails on the idea of possibly chasing the title.

“I am a big admirer of Pochettino and what he does. I like the way he works his players sometimes. It is underrated that value that he works his players. I know from Kieran Trippier, they really work. When they are on it, they are one of the top sides.”
