Fenerbahce want Janssen return

Turkish side Fenerbahce are reportedly locked in negotiations with Tottenham Hotspur over a second loan deal for Vincent Janssen.

The Dutch start did miss a huge chunk of last season through injury, but still managed to weigh in with five goals and four assists in 18 appearances across all competitions for the Turkish Super Lig outfit – including what turned out to be the winner against rivals Beskitas.

It would appear that Janssen is wanted back at the Sukru Saracoglu Stadium for the 2018/2019 campaign but on different terms.

According to Turkish TV Channel A Spor Fenerbahce are exploring the possibility of agreeing a loan deal for the striker but the two clubs are said to be miles apart in valuation.

Spurs are believed to be currently asking for a €6m loan fee to release Janssen for the new season, however Fenerbahce are only looking to offer €2m as the club’s new president Ali Y.Koc felt last seasons €5m was over the top.

Janssen, who is scheduled to report for pre-season training at Spurs next week, and it remains to be seen where he will kick off the 2018/19 season
