Five possible Tottenham starting XIs for the 2019/20 season

Tottenham Hotspur will surely be looking to significantly invest in their squad this summer, after going almost 18 months without signing a single player.

Spurs also finished in the Champions League final and the top four of the Premier League last season, showing what potential the squad already has.

So far in this transfer window, Tottenham have already been linked to a number of big-name players, despite not yet getting any deals over the line.

The BBC reported that Tottenham bid £53 for Real Betis central midfielder Giovani Lo Celso, while Sky Sports say the club are in talks with Lyon over Tanguy Ndombele.

In the full-back positions, Ryan Sessegnon has been linked with a move to North London in recent weeks (Guardian), as well as Norwich’s Max Aarons (Football London) and Crystal Palace’s Wan Bissaka (Sun).

Let’s take a look at five possible starting XIs for Spurs next season, taking into account players they may sign this summer.
