Sky Germany reporter Florian Plettenberg has now revealed that all parties involved are confident that Harry Kane’s move to Bayern Munich will now be sealed.
The news that Tottenham fans had dreaded all summer came out a couple of hours ago, with The Athletic’s David Ornstein being the first one to break the news that Bayern Munich’s latest offer of more than €100m (£86m) for Kane had been accepted by Spurs.
However, the journalist still offered some hope to Tottenham fans by adding that it remains to be seen how the England captain will react to the development as he has enjoyed working with Ange Postecoglou and was leaning towards staying.
Bild’s Christian Falk subsequently suggested that Bayern are optimistic that a deal for the Spurs star will be done by the end of the day.

The journalist added that the two clubs are now working on the final details of the agreement, with Kane expected to be handed a five-year contract at the Allianz Arena.

Spurs Web Opinion
Looking back, Kane’s ultimatum about calling off the transfer if a deal does not get agreed be the end of this week was perhaps more of a warning shot to Spurs than Bayern as the striker was essentially threatening to walk away on a free transfer next summer.
I always had an inkling that the two clubs would reach an agreement before the start of the season, which is exactly what has panned out.
