Football agent claims more ‘twists and turns to come’ in Kane transfer saga

Football agent, Alex Levack, who represents a whole host of players in England including new Arsenal signing Ben White, expects more twists and turns in the Harry Kane transfer saga before the transfer window shuts this summer.

Kane revealed on Twitter yesterday evening that he is set to return to training at Hotspur Way today and denied reports that he had refused to train

Despite Kane’s no-show up until today, multiple sources suggest that the North London club’s position on the transfer has not changed.

Eurosport have claimed Daniel Levy is now more firm than ever on his stance that the Egland captian will not leave Tottenham this summer while Gianluca Di Marzio has asserted the club expect the 28-year-old to honour his contract.

When asked about Kane’s situation, Levack spoke about a gentlemen’s agreement that White had with Brighton and suggested we will likely hear a lot more about this Spurs transfer sage over the next few weeks.

He told The Transfer Show on Sky Sports (04/08/21 at 7:45 pm): “It’s really hard to comment (on the Kane situation) because I am not fully versed with all of the information of what has been said or what people have been told.

“The only thing I can compare it to is Ben. When Ben was signing his Brighton deal this time last year.

“Tony Bloom always said ‘if a top-six come in and meet the valuation he has then he won’t stand in his way’.

“In all fairness, Tony was true to his word. I think the Harry Kane saga has a few more twists and turns to come. But I am sure it will all play out.”

Kane would have not gone on strike unless City had informed his entourage that they would be making a serious offer. So, there is likely to be more developments on this front over the next few weeks. Messi becoming available could also complicate matters for the Tottenham star.
