Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly finally agreed a deal with Real Betis for the transfer of Giovani Lo Celso this summer.
The BBC report that Lo Celso will cost around £60m, with the Argentine expected to sign before the deadline tomorrow.
The window shuts for incoming Premier League transfers on Thursday at 5 pm, giving Spurs under 24 hours to get Lo Celso over to London to have his medical.
This has been a transfer long in the making, as Spurs first had a £53m bid turned down for the player way back in May, at the start of the transfer window (BBC).
What is even more exciting is that one football journalist has now revealed that Lo Celso could be announced sooner than we think.
Goncalo Lopes tweeted out tonight that Lo Celso should be announced ‘in the next hours’ by Tottenham.
He also revealed that Pochettino wanted Lo Celso and Bruno Fernandes at the club, but it remains to be seen what happens with the latter.
Lo Celso also should be announced by @SpursOfficial in the next hours. Pochettino wanted both Lo Celso and Bruno.
