Tottenham Hotspur flew out to Greece today in preparation of their Champions League tie against Olympiacos tomorrow.
This is the first match in the 2019/20 group stage for Spurs after they were drawn in a group with Olympiacos, Bayern Munich, and Red Star Belgrade.
A tough away match in Greece will be a testing start for Pochettino’s boys in their first European match since the Champions League Final defeat to Liverpool.
Poch will be hoping to start the campaign a lot better than last year, with Tottenham taking just one point from the first three group stage games.
The Argentine gaffer has kept up his trend of leaving a couple of first-team players at home for away ties, as Alasdair Gold has revealed that neither Rose nor Aurier travelled with the team.
This comes after both players had a big part to play in the 4-0 demolition of Crystal Palace at the weekend and perhaps with Leicester away in mind.
In keeping with Pochettino leaving people behind for European trips as he rotates his squad, neither Danny Rose nor Serge Aurier have travelled to Greece.
