Football journalist says Spurs midfielder could go out on loan in next few hours

Tottenham Hotspur now have an embarrassment of choices when it comes to central midfielders for the new season under Pochettino.

The two main starters of last campaign, Harry Winks and Moussa Sissoko, are sure to play a big role yet again in the new season.

However, they are now joined by the club’s current record signing, Tanguy Ndombele, offering Pochettino yet another option in the holding role.

Poch still has Eric Dier to come back into the fold after he completes his rehabilitation, as well as Dele Alli who has played in that deeper position for both Spurs and MK Dons.

Tottenham could also have another new signing come the end of the window today, as Giovani Lo Celso is said to be having his medical as we speak (Sky Sports).

Meanwhile, the academy has thrown up a few names for consideration too, including Oliver Skipp, George Marsh, Harvey White, and more.

It seems as if there will be little room for Victor Wanyama this season, especially when considering his recent injury troubles.

Sky Sports’ Lyall Thomas has now revealed that there is a chance Wanyama will go out on loan in the next few hours, but Spurs have yet to find a suitor.
