Cesc Fabregas has taken to social media to laugh at Tottenham Hotspur’s current predicament.
Having played for two of Tottenham’s biggest rivals in Arsenal and Chelsea, Fabregas is understandably not a popular figure among Spurs fans.
The midfielder was part of quite a few intense North London derbies during his Arsenal days.
He was also involved in some heated battles with Spurs in a Chelsea shirt, most notably in the Battle of the Bridge in 2016, when the Blues held the Lilywhites a 2-2 draw – a result which meant that Leicester were crowned the Premier League champions.
Fabregas has been plying his trade in Monaco since leaving Stamford Bridge back in 2019 but the Spaniard evidently keeps a close eye on the Premier League.
When asked by a fan on social media what he thought of Tottenham’s current predicament, the 34-year-old could not resist a slight dig at the old enemy.
