Former Arsenal man ‘jealous’ of Dele Alli

Tottenham’s Dele Alli has had quite the rise to prominence since his arrival from MK Dons.

It is easy to forget that Dele is still only 22 years of age, which makes his potential absolutely mesmerising when you think of what he has already achieved.

He is one of the first names on the Tottenham team sheet, and has already played a staggering 33 games for his country.

Alli played a pivotal role, despite injury, at the Russia World Cup for England, even grabbing his first World Cup goal against Sweden in the quarter finals.

Dele is undoubtedly one of the best young midfielders in the world and will surely earn many more caps for his country in the future.

One fan pointed out on twitter that Dele Alli has achieved 33 caps for England at 22 years of age, while ex-Arsenal man Alan Smith only managed 13 by his retirement aged 32.

The former Arsenal man responded by admitting he was a little jealous.
