Former defender claims Spurs star is most balanced forward in the league – Not Kane

Son Heung-min has been named ‘King of the Month’ by Sky Sports’ Kings of the Premier League show on the back of the impressive form that the Tottenham forward showed last month.

Son is currently leading the Premier League golden boot race with eight strikes to his name so far in as many matches.

The South Korean seems to have become even more clinical in front of goal, while his electric pace combined with his intelligent movement has made him extremely difficult to defend against.

Reports indicate that Tottenham are ready to hand the 28-year-old a new contract that would bring his salary on par with Harry Kane, as a reward for his terrific displays recently (Transfer Window Podcast).

Joleon Lescott, who was part of the Kings of the Premier League panel, raved about the Tottenham man and insisted that he had taken his game to a new level this season.

The former Everton man said: “Son has definitely upped his game to another level this season. He’s probably the most balanced forward from the names on that list. He scores with his left foot, right foot and headers. He contributes in all areas and tracks back.”
