Former Lilywhite player claims he is ‘sick and tired of being a Spurs fan’ after FA Cup exit

Jamie O’Hara was left fuming after Tottenham Hotspur got knocked out of the FA Cup by Middlesbrough on Tuesday night.

Spurs had a golden opportunity to progress into the quarter-finals of the competition, which was their final chance of winning silverware this season.

However, the North Londoners struggled to fashion chances at the Riverside Stadium as the likes of Harry Kane and Son Heung-min were well below par.

Boro deservedly progressed to the next round, with Josh Coburn getting the matchwinner in the second half of extra time.

O’Hara expressed his disbelief at how Tottenham could play so well against Manchester City and Leeds but yet do so poorly against Burnley and Boro. He even went as far as to say that he was ‘sick and tired of being a Spurs fan’.

Putting aside O’Hara’s typical theatrics, it is certainly hugely frustrating to see us take one step forward followed by two steps back.

The rest of this season is now essentially a write-off and Conte can start focusing on putting processes in place to make the side competitive for next season.
