Tottenham are all set to host Premier League and Champions League games at the new stadium from April providing the two test events scheduled for this month go ahead without any glitches.
Spurs fans are really excited to finally have the opportunity to watch the team play at the venue after an extremely long wait.
However, former Spurs and Chelsea defender Jason Cundy has called the decision by the FA and the Premier League to allow Spurs to move into their new stadium with five games left, as “farcical”.
The 49-year-old said, Spurs must not be allowed to use two stadiums in one season as it would be unfair to certain teams. Despite playing for Spurs during his career, Cundy is known to be a staunch Chelsea fan.
Speaking to talkSPORT, Cundy said for the sake of a level playing field, Spurs must remain at Wembley for the rest of the season.
Needless to say, Spurs fans didn’t take too kindly to the former defender’s comments. Here’s how some Spurs fans reacted on social media:
Didn’t you get an invite to legends match,Mr Salty 😭

So he doesn't know if it will be an advantage to spurs or disadvantage so he's answered his own question the bell end 🤷♂️

Jadon Cundy seems worried about Chelsea's top 4 chances. 😀
