England striker Harry Kane received his golden boot in front of the Wembley crowd earlier and Gary Lineker has taken to Twitter to banter with the Spurs striker.
Kane finished top of the goalscoring charts at the World Cup this summer with 6 goals for England, something which Lineker also achieved in 1986 with a similar tally.
The England captain was presented with the coveted award prior to this evening’s Nations League fixture against Spain.
Lineker, who has also played for Spurs in his career posted a sarcastic reply to the official England Twitter account.
For crying out loud, we’ve all got one of those. https://t.co/DTWPIK7OJD
