Former Spurs midfielder calls out those who made Arteta and Mourinho claim

Jamie O’Hara has called out those who were insisting at the start of the season that they would prefer Mikel Arteta to Jose Mourinho as their manager.

There were some pundits insisting at the end of last season that Mourinho was past his best, while others argued that Arsenal were on their way up under Arteta.

Some Arsenal fans were still suggesting up until a couple of months ago that the Spaniard will make the Gunners a force to be reckoned with in the future while Spurs were likely to go on a downward spiral under Mourinho.

However, less than a quarter of the way into the season, parts of the Arsenal fan base already seem to be turning on Arteta, with the Gunners struggling to score goals in the league this season.

Meanwhile, Tottenham sit at top of the Premier League table, with some pundits backing them to challenge the likes of Liverpool for the title.

In stark contrast to Arteta, Mourinho has managed to win over plenty of Spurs fans, with a recent poll in The Athletic revealing that the overwhelming majority now approve of the job he is doing at N17.

Ahead of the North London Derby in less than two weeks time, O’Hara took to social media to question those who rated Arteta higher than Mourinho
