Former Spurs player brilliantly calls out Paul Merson after his silly NLD prediction

Tottenham Hotspur managed to take another away point off a big six rival yesterday as the earned a 2-2 draw against Arsenal at the Emirates.

It was a game of two halves, with Spurs dominating the first and Arsenal pinning them back in the second, with the honours even come the final whistle.

This comes after Tottenham’s shock defeat to Newcastle United at home last week, as well as two sub-par performances against Man City and Aston Villa.

However, on the day against Arsenal, Spurs undoubtedly played some of their best football of the season so far, with Jan Vertonghen and Christian Eriksen recalled to the starting XI.

The 2-2 result seemed fair in the end, but it was a way off what Arsenal legend, Paul Merson, predicted the scoreline to be earlier in the week.

On The Debate, alongside Jamie O’Hara, Merson claimed that Spurs would be torn to shreds by Arsenal, who would run away as 4-1 winners.

After laughing at his claims on the night, Jamie O’Hara, who played for Spurs, has now brilliantly called Merson out on Twitter.
