Former Tottenham midfield star asks Eric Dier to send him the new home kit

Mousa Dembele has told Eric Dier to send him Tottenham’s new home kit for the 2022/23 campaign.

Spurs released their new kit last week, with Nike opting for a slightly more retro design on this occasion.

The predominantly white home shirt has a circular seam across the chest, with the collar and sleeve cuffs both navy blue in colour with a volt line through the middle.

The inner neck of the shirt is also volt and includes the word ‘SPURS’ printed in navy.

The new kit has split opinion among Spurs fans on social media but Dier certainly seems to be a big fan.

The centre-back took to Instagram to post a picture of himself donning the new kit, admitting that this was his favourite one yet.

That is high words of praise, considering that the 28-year-old has seen a fair few kits during his eight years at the North London club.

Dembele was among those who responded to Dier’s post, with the Belgian asking his former Tottenham teammate to send him one.

Spurs Web Opinion

While I was not overly impressed when I first came across the new home kit, I have to admit that it has grown on me since then. This kit might turn out to be quite historic, given that we arguably have a better chance of breaking our trophy drought in the upcoming season than we have had for quite a while.
