Report: Four Everton players ruled out for Premier League trip to Tottenham

Everton will once again be without Yerry Mina, Ben Godfrey, Fabian Delph and Tom Davies for Monday night’s Premier League match against Tottenham Hotspur.

The Toffees quartet are all sidelined through injury while Frank Lampard is still waiting to see whether star striker Dominic Calvert-Lewin will be ready to face the North Londoners with the England international set to train again today.

Winger Demarai Gray missed Thursday night’s FA Cup win over non-league Boreham Wood due to a fever and will be assessed prior to Monday, while central midfielder Andre Gomes has recovered from a thigh problem and is available for selection.

Former Spurs midfielder Dele Alli sat out the FA Cup match, having appeared for his previous club against Morecambe in the third round and could be in line to face his old employer for the first time since his deadline day departure.

The return of Calvert-Lewin would be a big boost for Everton and his aerial threat would certainly cause a problem for Spurs, given their recent vulnerability at set-pieces.

Surprisingly, Cristian Romero has found himself lucky on more than one occasion against Leeds and Middlesbrough after failing to track the run of the player he is marking from corner kicks.
